Decryption Lab

Decrypt AnyToolFree crypto payloads. The payload identifies the AES or RSA algorithm and parameters automatically; you provide only the matching password, raw AES key or RSA private key.

Legacy password payloads created by the earlier AnyToolFree AES-256-GCM tool remain supported.

Supported payloads

AES-GCM: 128/192/256-bit keys, PBKDF2 or raw key, configurable tag length, optional AAD.

AES-CBC: 128/192/256-bit keys with PKCS#7 padding and random IV.

AES-CTR: 128/192/256-bit keys with configurable counter length.

RSA-OAEP: direct decryption for short RSA ciphertext.

RSA hybrid: RSA-OAEP unwraps a fresh AES-256-GCM key, then AES decrypts the message.

Legacy: original AnyToolFree v1 AES-256-GCM + PBKDF2 payloads.

How this tool helps

Decrypt self-describing AnyToolFree crypto payloads produced with AES-GCM, AES-CBC, AES-CTR, RSA-OAEP or RSA-OAEP plus AES-256-GCM hybrid encryption.

  • The payload automatically identifies its algorithm and parameters.
  • Provide the matching password, raw AES key or RSA private key.
  • Legacy AnyToolFree AES-256-GCM password payloads remain supported.

Worked example: Decrypt a payload created by the Encryption Lab

  • Paste the complete AnyToolFree encrypted payload
  • Provide the matching password or key
  • Run decrypt

When the payload and matching secret are valid, the browser decrypts the content and displays the plaintext.

The tool cannot recover a lost password, AES key or RSA private key. Do not paste secrets into an untrusted or shared device.

Frequently asked questions

Which encrypted formats can it decrypt?

It decrypts AnyToolFree payloads for AES-GCM, AES-CBC, AES-CTR, RSA-OAEP, RSA hybrid and the earlier legacy AES-GCM format.

What if I lose the key or password?

The tool cannot recover lost passwords, AES keys or RSA private keys.

Is decrypted text uploaded?

No. Decryption runs in your browser.

Security & privacy notes

Cryptographic operations run locally in your browser using the Web Crypto API. Secrets and plaintext are not intentionally uploaded to our server. Save keys securely: this site cannot recover a lost key or password.
