API Request Tester
Build and send REST requests from your browser. Configure the method, query parameters, headers and body, then inspect the response.
Requests go directly from your browser to the API. This tool does not store requests or credentials. Browser CORS rules may block APIs that do not allow cross-origin requests.
How this tool helps
Send HTTP requests directly from your browser and inspect their status, timing, response headers and body. Use query parameter and header objects to adjust the request, and provide a JSON or raw text body for methods that support one.
- Choose GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE or HEAD.
- Requests go directly to the selected API; this tool does not save credentials or request data.
- A target API must allow cross-origin browser requests through CORS or the browser will block the response.
Worked example: Inspect a public test API response
- Method: GET
- URL: https://jsonplaceholder.typicode.com/posts/1
- Accept header: application/json
If the endpoint is reachable and permits browser requests, the result panel shows the HTTP status, duration, response headers and formatted body.
The destination API receives the request. CORS, authentication, rate limits and availability are controlled by that API; this tool does not bypass them.
Frequently asked questions
Which HTTP methods are supported?
GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE and HEAD are supported.
Why did the browser block my request?
Many APIs do not allow requests from other websites. The API server must permit your website origin through CORS; this tool does not bypass that restriction.
Are my API keys or request details saved?
No. This tool keeps them in the current page and sends the request directly to the URL you entered. Avoid using credentials you do not have permission to use.

Privacy and browser limits
The request is sent from your browser directly to the URL you enter. Headers and request bodies are not saved by this tool. Many APIs block requests from websites unless they enable CORS. This tool does not proxy or bypass those browser restrictions.
